It's been really hard working these full 3rd shifts 2 nites/ week. Especially when I'm getting Austin and Audrey ready for Friday on Thursday nite and Lexi asks, "what do I get to do tomorrow?" and I reply, "you get to be with mommy" {while mommy sleeps on the couch} and she runs down the hall singing, "yay!!!!" because she thinks we're going to color and do play doh and play dolls and go to Tim Horton's. I miss my special "just~mommy~and~Lexi" times when the older 2 kids are in school. And it kills me to think that we don't get that any more because the times it is just us is Friday mornings after I've been up for almost 24 hours (minus a quick nap). But I have to sleep sometime. Grrr.... what's a momma to do?
